Shrimp appitizer (Indian)
Shrimp appitizer
1 pound Shrimp
4 tbp of oil
4-5 Curry leaves
2 drops of red food coloring (optional)
1 tbp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
Salt to taste.
1 tbp of chopped coriander leaves
1 tbp of chopped mint leaves.
Dry spices
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbp coriander powder
1 tbp dry Mango Powder
1 tsp Garam powder
1 tbp Red chili powder
1 tsp of chat.
· Clean and devein the shrimp.
· Marinate the shrimp with all the dry spices (except chat), ginger-garlic paste  and salt and let sit for 15 min.
· Chop the coriander and mint leaves.
· Grind the ginger and garlic to a fine paste.
Heat 4 tbp of cooking oil in a round bottom pan. Add curry leaves and the Shrimp and sauté until done (3-4 min).
Garnish it with chat masala, coriander and mint leaves.
