1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp cumin seeds.
¼ tsp salt.
2 cups of cooking oil
1 cup of sugar
· Prepare sugar syrup with one 1 cup of sugar and half cup of water.
Heat oil in a round bottom fry pan.
Mix flour, salt, cumin seeds and kneed stiff dough. Separate the dough into 1 inch diameter balls and gently elongate the dough by rolling it between the palms to about 2 inches in length. Lower them streight into the fry pan.
Fry them in hot oil, on a very low until the tosha turns pink. Fish out the tosha and lower them into the sugar syrup. Take the sugar coated Tosha's over a larger platter for 30 to 45 min. Do not pile the hot toshas. Serve at room temperature.
