Ingredients
1 ½ cups Paneer cubes (cottage cheese)
1 green capsicum
2 small green chilies
4-5 cloves of garlic
1 inch Ginger
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt to taste.
1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
1 tbp chopped mint leaves
2 -3 tbp cooking oil
Salt to taste
Spices
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbp coriander powder
1 tbp chat masala powder
1 tsp white pepper power
1 tsp grinded cumin powder
Preparations
· Grind ginger, garlic, chilies into a paste add lemon juice, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, white pepper powder and mix well.
· Cut the Paneer (cottage cheese) into bite size cubes and marinate it with the grinded paste for 6 hrs. This can be done a day in advance.
· Cut up green capsicum into thin strips.
Method
In a round bottom pan add 3 tbp of oil and shallow fry the marinated paneer until golden brown. Add cut up capsicum. Mix and let it simmer covered for a min or two.
Take the paneer out on a serving platter and garnish with chat masala, coriander and mint leaves and serve hot!
